Sis. Jane Mitchell

Dean, LOWCF Bible Institute

Sis. Jane Mitchell has been a member of Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church for more than twenty years. She is parliamentarian of “The Women of Grace”, a former board member of HAAM, and now serves as the Dean of the LOWCF Bible Institute. She teaches Journey of a Lifetime, Journey into Discipleship, and Journey into Biblical Problem Solving.

B142: Journey of a Lifetime

You are about to begin the journey of a lifetime, a journey through the Bible. On your journey, you will obtain a working knowledge of every book in the Bible and will be able to closely study many of the significant chapters in the Bible.

Sis. Hattie Dugas

Instructor

Sis. Hattie Dugas has been a member of Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church for almost twenty years. She is president of “The Women of Grace”, and serves on the Intercessory Prayer Team. She also teaches The Pursuit of Holiness.

Sis. Pamelia Alfred

Instructor

Sis. Pamelia Alfred has been a member of Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church for many years. She is president of “The Intercessory Prayer Team” and leader of the “Drive Through Prayer Team”. She teaches Intercessory Prayer in the Bible Institute.

Sis. Oretha Riggins

Instructor

Sis. Oretha Riggins is a member of Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church. She has been teaching Spiritual Boot Camp for many years and believes she is living out the purpose God has set for her life through the Bible Institute.

Foundation 101: Spiritual Boot Camp

This 12-week preparation course in the fundamentals of the Christian faith provides the believer with basic training for the spiritual war you will encounter.

Sis. Kim Jones-Estes

Instructor

Sis. Kim Jones-Estes has been a member of Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church for over thirty-one years. She has been teaching Discovering Spiritual Maturity for many years and says one of the reasons she enjoys teaching is seeing believers grow in their faith.

Foundation 103: Discovering Spiritual Maturity

This 6-week course focuses on the four basic habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity. This class will:

Equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits
Explain the tools you need to continue these habits

Sis. Calandra Broussard

Instructor

Sis. Calandra Broussard has been a member of The Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church for more than eighteen years. She has been called to teach God's Word until all have heard.

Foundation 102: Finding My S.H.A.P.E.

This course will focus on helping students start to find and fulfill God's specific purpose for their lives. S.H.A.P.E. (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experience) is a simple acrostic created to help students remember what God uses to prepare and equip them for life. The goal is for students to understand that they are shaped to serve God by serving others.
