Instructions to the Students

A few simple commitments keep the semester fruitful for everyone in the room.

    Completed course materials are due at the end of the semester or by the instructor's deadline. Course credit requires completed materials and regular attendance. Otherwise the course must be retaken.

    Arrive on time; please don't arrive more than 10 minutes late.

  3. 3

    Regular attendance matters, and two absences can cost course credit. Talk with your instructor if you're struggling to stay on track.

    All classes run 12 weeks, with a break after 6 weeks (to catch up on reading and materials and turn in midterms) and a week off after Thanksgiving.

    Submit materials as your own work, on or before December 13, 2026. Instructors will mark materials “REQUIREMENTS MET.” Partially completed work is not accepted.

  6. 6

    Childcare is provided for children ages 3-8. Older children remain in class with their parents.
